Ann Marie

Anne Marie Schumann has been singing since childhood, fueled by a love for the craft and an unfortunate lack of coordination that made playing an instrument inadvisable. Raised on a steady diet of church choir and folk singers, by the age of 14, she landed the role of "unnamed broom maker's child" in the obscure German opera Königskinder and her professional music career was launched. A founding member of The NonEssentialz, Anne Marie is happiest when the harmonies are tight and the audience lets loose. In the band as in life, she describes herself as “the bun on a tripple stacked burger”— happy to help hold it all together.
