“Docta” Bob Schaefer has loved recording music from an early age, recording instruments and sounds with his musician friends. When he got college, he was a roadie for the band “Just Passin’ Thru”, took piano lessons, and worked for the college radio station with 3 radio shows and recording local performances. In grad school he had another college radio show, was part of a crew that put local bands on the radio for live lunchtime concerts at the student union, and also playing keyboard for the physics department basement band “the Selectones”. He also somehow found the time to get his doctorate in astrophysics, and can now rightly be called “Docta Bob”
