Kate Rears (cello) is an extremely versatile musician based in Alexandria, VA. Over the last 20 years, she has established herself as a premier rock singer, songwriter, and bassist in the D.C. area, bringing inventive melodies and harmonies to each stage and studio collaboration. Although she plays several instruments, the cello will always be her first love, and she continues to perform with classical ensembles, in pit orchestras for musical theatre, and at weddings and private events, as well as session work in all genres.
